Are you using a chain on your Windlass? All chains are not created equal, and you will need the proper chain for your Windlass. Windlass chains must be manufactured to exacting standards to gear up your Windlass’s gypsy. Our chain is calibrated under DIN 766 as recommended by most Windlass manufacturers. Additionally, we use G43 (High-Test G-4) stainless steel in all of our chains. G-43 is the recommend chain by most Windlass manufactures. Finally, we use grade #8, mirror-like polish, to reduce corrosion pitting and keeping your chain looking great.
